Dr. Channarong Intahchomphoo

Dr. Intahchomphoo is currently an adjunct professor in teh School of Engineering Design and Teaching Innovation, Faculty of Engineering, uOttawa. His interdisciplinary education includes a Bachelors in Information Studies (Chiang Mai), a Masters in Information Studies (Ottawa) and PhD and postdoctoral studies in Electronic Business, Digital Transformation and Innovation (Ottawa). Channarong was a finalist for the 2017 Ontario Lieutenant Governor’s Visionaries Prize. In 2018, he obtained the Facebook Global Literacy and Accessibility Challenge Research Award and his white paper (2019) entitled, “Connectivity and Arctic Climate Action”, was selected to present at the Facebook’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California. Recently, he received the Best Paper Award at the Haaga-Helia Business Innovation Conference 2020 in Finland. He is writing papers in Human-Computer Interaction, Computing for Social Responsibility, and Innovation Management.
