Emma is a student in the combined political science and juris doctor program. Emma intends to pursue a career internationally. Her internship in the legal department of Allianz Africa and her studies at LMU in Munich, Germany sparked a passion for work and travel abroad. She is also very interested in entrepreneurship and is involved in the tech startup scene through her work at Fellow.app, a fast growing technology startup based in Ottawa. Besides for her interests in entrepreneurship, Emma believes the future of legal practice will require lawyers to be versatile and proficient in technology: she actively works on adding these competences to her skill set through the Ottawa Legal Innovation Hub. Emma periodically publishes articles on these topics.

Emma est une étudiante dans le programme combiné de sciences politiques et de juris doctor. Emma a l’intention de poursuivre une carrière internationale. Son stage au service juridique d’Allianz Africa et ses études à l’université LMU de Munich, en Allemagne, ont éveillé sa passion pour le travail et les voyages à l’étranger. Elle est également très intéressée par l’entrepreneuriat et participe à la scène des startups technologiques en travaillant chez Fellow.app, une startup technologique à croissance rapide basée à Ottawa. Outre son intérêt pour l’entrepreneuriat, Emma est convaincue que l’avenir de la pratique juridique exigera des avocats qu’ils soient polyvalents et compétents en matière de technologie : elle travaille activement à l’ajout de ces compétences à son ensemble de compétences par le biais du Centre d’innovation juridique d’Ottawa. Emma publie périodiquement des articles sur ces sujets.
