Julia Mogus

Julia is currently a first-year student in the Common Law section. Before attending law school Julia completed her Masters of Arts in Criminology and Sociolegal Studies at the University of Toronto and worked as a graduate student researcher at the Ontario Human Rights Commission and on the Centre for Criminology and Sociolegal Studies’ gun project.

 

Julia is particularly interested in the intersection of artificial intelligence, policy and law, specifically criminal law. She is currently involved in the JurisMentor and Criminal Law Courthouse Mentorship Program and hopes to analyze the role of technology and AI in the court and policing.

 

Julia is also a ballerina. She has received formal training under the Royal Academy of Dance. She enjoys attending the theatre to watch operas, philharmonic orchestra and ballets.
