She is currently contributing to the Micro City, Macro Problems project at the Canadian Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Ethical Design Lab (CRAiEDL). Previously, she worked with Open Ottawa to humanize data by transforming raw census numbers into meaningful narratives, making city-level information more accessible for City of Ottawa residents.

Her work in accessible design and life cycle analysis earned her first place at the University of Ottawa’s Design Day. She also has a strong history of public service, including her role in the federal government, where she played a key role in the rapid digital transformation of public services during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, streamlining operations and enabling remote work. Her impact in this transition was formally recognized.

Beyond tech, she was an appointed representative on Ontario’s Anti-Racism Directorate, where she contributed to shaping policies on anti-Black racism and systemic discrimination.

Her interests include AI governance, the role of technology in the Global South, and the human impact of data. When she’s not working on research or development, she’s exploring new cultures, cuisines, and community initiatives.
