Biography

Anne Merritt is a 1L in the University of Ottawa’s English Common Law program. She holds an MA in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching. Prior to law school, Anne worked as a postsecondary lecturer in Academic English at universities, colleges, and CÉGEPs in Canada and abroad.

She is interested in health, labour, and human rights law, and is passionate about access to justice and furthering legal literacy among youth and marginalized groups in Canada.

As a Technoship fellow with CRAiEDL, she is interested in exploring the intersection of technology and ethics in legal contexts.
